Credit scoring Bank v Mobile phone Company!

Having read that a poster could get a proper full bank account, store card etc, but got refused with 3 mobile for a laptop deal.
I always thought you would need a higher score to get a full bank account than with a mobile company.

Any thoughts on this anyone?

every lender/product uses a different scoring model..... have you tried t mobile.

if thats a no go, then do this:

get yourself a sim only contract(its 30days only)- keep it for 2 months @£10 a month.

after that go back to a retailer and apply for a contract with the same company- you should now get approved as you are an existing customer with the network.......

    hope this helps
