Hi Techies :j
I own a LG M227WD and have used it perfectly as a TV and a monitor
I have now upgraded to Windows 7 and have lost the driver
LG Driver page has no download link for any LG M227WD drivers
So does any one know where I can get a Vista/Windows 7 Driver please

You dont really get monitor drivers as they dont require any installation. The only thing they really contain is colour profile and the resolution etc.0

Well ok lets say how are you suppose to install the monitor if you cant see anything to start i.e just out the box. Thats why graphics cards were invented to show the actual display on the monitor. All the cd woulda done is add the colour profile etc to stop it flckering maybe.0

Because im connecting a LAPTOP UP TO A TV
Laptop = Screen?0 -
that has nothing to do with LG drivers, simply output the laptop screens display to monitor or monitor + laptop screen.0

Are you saying after upgrading to Win7 your monitor no longer works??0

Yes!
It connects fine, an I hear the Windows "Connected Device" sound but the screen then goes onto power saver mode, which it never does :eek:
So I go to display settings and when I try to change anything display wise some warning box comes up and says this can not be done :eek:0 -
All sounds most bizarre.
The PC doesn't give a monkeys if a monitor is connected or not, it shouldn't play any sound when you connect a monitor. The port isn't monitored the way a USB slot is.
The only similar occurrence with Win7 I have encountered was when I installed Win7 with both my monitor AND my TV connected as a dual display system (I use my Samsung LCD TV to watch movie downloads).
Win7 reverted to using my TV as the default single display so I had nothing appear on my monitor (but the desktop appeared on my TV)
A quick switch of the DVI Connections on the Graphics card was all that was required (to make the Monitor on the default output). It could also have been configured from the display options within Windows.0
