Official confirmation of the coupon policy from a member of the head office team. Although I am sure there will be some discretion involves in terms of the management, Tesco policy is this:
(and see if any staff really want to argue with head office)

    "OUR COUPON POLICY

We'll happily accept your coupons if you've bought the product.

This includes Tesco and supplier coupons.

Unfortunately if you haven't bought the product we can't accept the coupon.

We will continue to accept Competitor Conditional Spend Coupons as long as the minimum spend has been met, as well as Healthy Start and Luncheon Vouchers.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to contact us. I realise you may be a little disappointed with this response but I do hope that despite this we may continue to look forward to being of service to you.

    Yours sincerely

    XXXXXXXXX
    Customer Service Executive"

*sorry - removed name in case people decide to pick on her via calls and emails - sure she is busy enough reply to my multiple emails :)

My local argued with them and won:eek:

good afternoon all,(:o I've missed good morning, lol) oh dear not many new mocs or freebies around at the mo, you watch they will all pop up while I'm away, just as well I'm taking the lappie with me, oh how sad does that make me :D,
we had another order from approved foods y'day, mmm lots of yummie goodies and once again saved a fortune for us and family plus some friends who will be round to see what they want, its like xmas unpacking the boxes and even better when you see how much you have saved.:T:T:T
Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.

i managed to get 4 of the comfort yesterday with the vouchers taken by acting stupid (suprisingly easy that) but i did notice on the way around that in the llanelli branch they had the 9 wash capsule pack of the persil naturals on offer at £2.00-£1.00 off. If they won’t take the coupon against the comfort i think it’s not a bad buy to get both for £2.00

I think it is just these 2 flavours. Last time it was on offer I tried it and it's lovely, but did not like enough to pay full price, so am glad it is on offer again.
Also the kingsmill big loaf, is 2 for £1.50, so with the coupons 25p a loaf, not bad price if you have used up all your Free bread
unitl the 16th march in tesco, dec in asda
