  • Please don't take this the wrong way shy at the till but when you contribute something useful to this thread and post on here more often then I think you will have more of a say and be taken more seriously. As it stands at the moment you are just going to antagonise a lot of the regular and useful posters imho.

Edit Pink forgot to say she had M&S carrot and swede mash (bought using vouchers and very tasty) and lasagne bought on offer at asda for dinner tonight. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Well said! :T

"This forum has "morphed" (as I think mad nicely put it:beer:), in a great fashion since coupons WERE used as cash, but the forum should still primarily (IMHO) be used for PRINTABLE MONEY OFF COUPONS and policies, as stated in the title, and where they can be used for most benefit!!!!"

I do agree with you. This forum has changed. It used to be for printable money off coupons and policies and now we sometimes have to scroll down unnecessary posts about what people had for dinner/tea/supper and how many trips they made to their supermarket.

For tea tonight Mad had something outta the freezer bought with MOC's

Re Cornish ice-cream coupon through door, I can't remember how it got to me, I did look at the website but no email to sign up, so it's not come from there. It's part of Unilever so I may be on their mailing list

you could check on the different brands and then go to products websites to see if one has a mailing list and then you may be on the list for all unilever products perhaps?
    http://www.unilever.co.uk/brands/index.aspx

    eg;

PS I like the forum how it is now, nice and chatty and you get a feel for people, if you want to be quick just use the first page

As this thread stands now, not only do you still get the info about printable coupons, but also info on where the best bargains can be found, who has which item on offer and where good reductions can be found.

If you really only want the printable mocs, the front page is updated on a regular basis by Sher60 - who does a fab job.

If you want to find out how to really save money, you read the rest of the thread to find out how to maximise those savings.

For example, since removing the blinkers and becoming a Supermarket Tart, I am saving at least as much as I did with my "generous" 5 mocs allowance on Tesco, of not more.

For dinner tonight I had a WW meal bought for 70p in Mozza's [cos they do better discounts than Tesco] with Mozza's mushrooms.

For lunch I had scrambled egg on toast. The bread was infinitely better than Tesco bread, [cos I made it myself] and the free range eggs were bought on Monday at 30p for half a dozen, with a use by date of the 7th, in Sainsburys.

If all I worried about was mocs, that can only be used on the correct items, my meals today would have cost me a lot more.

This thread is true money saving style... and manages to be fun and friendly too!

I have made loads of pals on this thread and got loads of help/advice. Thanks to Coupon Women and Cashless Cow for the advice re Farmfoods:T:T
This thread is the first one I go to each day, not so much for the coupons, more to find out where the latest bargains may be and to find out what my pals have been up to.;) You will also find that this is the politest thread on mse, even when we may not agree, a lot of people thank you for your opinion/thoughts.
I want to know what people have had for tea, cos sometimes gives me an idea what to cook:D. I had for tea Lamb Steaks (reduced and paid for with the change from dove coupons:D), mashed potatoe and carrots, plus Tesco Trifle, reduced to 50p, which I knew about thanks to someone posting on here :D

Thanks Browntoe, and even though some of us may complain a bit about our posts been moved, we all appreciate the time and effort you put in. Without you and Sher, we wouldn't have a thread so thanks. :T:T:T:A:A
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
