Yes, I used Farmfoods and M&S Conditional Spends in one of the T's out of town. I enquired this with a supervisor and was advised could use them. Went to the checkout and used both F/F £2.50/£25 and M&S £5/£25... I suppose 'Every little helps...'
 Long gone are the days when one didn't have to think what vouchers one needed to use up whilst purchasing the items...:(

I think it checks your first and last name so if you have a common one then you may well get this...... I might be wrong though, it could be working on ip address/email
I'm sure VC will put me right;)
Not that it matters now seeing as there is only 1 week left, but, if it says for instance 'A Smith' has already entered try putting another initial eg 'AZ Smith' and see if that works!
WEM for McCain this weekend anyone???I am not a beige person:D0 -
No wonder your store stopped taking vouchers on 1 Jan - they are probably still counting all those you gave up in December!!!
As soon as they told me it was ending i went into 'super neas coupon mode'
And unfortunately I wasn't the worst... one lady was giving 100 quid worth every day or so... and .... was using coupons we all agreed were not to be used (5 quid walls coupon for example).
Either way they warned me about it ...so i personally got the most out of it.. like am sure the rest of you will be doing in the coming couple weeks.0 -
Update on my message above, The date is now out Waitrose will stop accepting vouchers (unless you buy the product) from the end of January and will start giving out cards to voucher users from next week, the cards will explain the new policy.I am not a beige person:D0

I did that all through december :P.... 25 quid coupons... each day for 45 days...No wonder your store stopped taking vouchers on 1 Jan - they are probably still counting all those you gave up in December!!!It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
If you use the "search this thread" button at the top of the page, you may find it's been answered already!;)0 -
I don't shop at Waitys as there isn't one near me but I think it is a lot better tactic than just banning coupons with no warning - so much more polite and although coupon users will not be happy that the policy has changed at least they are being given proper info etc so no confusion and better PR/customer relations than letting customers do their shopping and announce without warning that coupons are no longer accepted. I was not one of those caught out but I did think it was a very bad way to stop coupons after such a lenient National Policy as it left a lot of bad feeling about the way it was done and some couponners would not have brought along extra money as they were so used to using coupons so it inconvenienced them when there was no need for that to happen - it was very badly handled by Tesco IMHO
I agree with you... W's do come across as more polite and this measure will enable them to keep the 'Good feel' factor with the cmr. T's didn't appear to bother with this...
Unfortunately, as my W's is pretty small and they don't stock many products I am unable to use all my coupons but even the ones I am 'allowed' to use have made a significant difference...0 -
