Hi,
This seemed really cheap so I thought I'd share. The Coop near me has a selection of vacuum cleaners reduced including a DC07 at £79.99. The cheapest I could find elsewhere was about £130-140. Don't know if it's all Coops but hope this helps someone.

My local Co Op has them reduced from £199.99 to £149.99. Where do you live? We'll all come over tomorrow!0 -
This isnt a national offer, In fact i am not sure why they are displaying this price as i have heard nothing about it and i am in the buying loop."Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0

It was in the Southend Coop, they had a big sign on them as well as the small reduced sticker and both said reduced from £99 to £79. There was a selection of other vacuum cleaners, an electrolux reduced to £49.99 but I didn't get the details.0

Just got the Makro e-mail no 13, and front page is the DC07. Their price is £99.99, ( says the SSSP was £199 !) and I assume their will be 17.5% vat on it as well (?) so your price spot is excellent. My old Dyson is ready for retirement, so I must check out my local Co-op tomorrow - actually will check out if they have anything on the net about it.;)0

This does sound like a good price but personally i wouldn't touch Dyson.
After having 2 dysons (different models) both having broken down multiple times (motors and accessories) during and after the warrantly period i have totally lost faith in them. A lot of people i have spoken to tend to agree - overpriced and overhyped.
We now have a 'cheap' £80 panasonic which is much lighter than the dysons we had and a damn site more powerful. Picksup more dirt and is easier to empty.
Just my opionion based on my experience.

I totally agree with you MrLew. I have had nothing but trouble with the Dysons that i have bought, motor cuts out every 5 -10 mins. I bought one because they say its good for picking up Dog hairs (not) We have a medium-large white dog and the hairs are horrendus. Just for interest what model panasonic do you have? as i might try that one if it's any good with picking up animal hairs. Failing that it's Veet for the cat and dog.:D20p savers club

i purchased my dyson 07, some 4 1/2 yrs ago it's still going strong ( touch wood ), it did cost £279, many friends dyson's have died in a shorter life span.
but my mate has got the electrolux, it cost £49.99 from our local coop and it is GREAT!!! pick up the dogs hairs no problems the preformance is as good as the dyson.

when my dyson dies i will be going for the electrolux0
