just like with a pc 250gb will mean alot more storage space. games, game demos, game saves, photos, mp3's etc can all mount up over time.
never wanted to transfer movies or mp3's myself but i am sure that it will be possible to transfer your own. maybe by connecting it to a pc. it maybe possible tro connect a usb stick but again i'm not sure.

Yes, and there's also an offer on for the 4GB Xbox 360 with the same choice of games which I think is for around £120, or it could be £130. Perhaps someone else can verify the price.

Yes, you can connect either an external HDD or USB stick up to 16GB.

no i'm in north east england. i walked past again today and the xbox is 4gb with a free game for £129. i remembered the details for the ps3 offer correctly. if its not on the website it maybe only available in store. its probably aimed at tempting people at the last minute.

DAK if the PS3 offer in HMV allows use of blue ray discs and online game access?

Is it better to but one now or hold on for a few days? If i can get a PS3 for under £180 with a decent game then i am tempted to trade in the Wii and keep my kid happy.

pardon the ignorance, buts whats the main differences between a Ps3 and Xbox? Which is better for a 10 year old? Can both play blueray movies discs?
