Salt, mustard, vinegar, pepper. :rotfl:Squiggles wrote:For recent mystery shoppers, it might be an idea to read through your terms of employment. Just about all companies that use mystery shoppers have strict client and company confidentiality agreements that you agree to when you apply. These prohibit discussing clients in any shape or form with anybody, least of all on a public forum. It would be best if you edited your posts to remove client names and details of fees, as the companies concerned would not be happy about these being posted.
Just a bit of friendly advice from a seasoned mystery shopper!!It's 4 In The Morning :j0 -

I've been accepted by TNS but I'm really in two minds whether to sign the contract etc. Can it be very expensive to start with? I'm imagining spending out loads to start with and then having to wait for the money to come back.
Beanie - I would have just completed the form to say that you were advised that they don't do storecards. That would have got their training department in a flap!
Just had a thought. Perhaps the person who served you was a DFW and didn't want you to get into to debt!DMP mutual support number 174Total debt now (April 10) £0! - total paid off £30,221 or 100%I'm now debt free after 6 years!!:jNon smoker since June 2006 :j0 -
I've just had 2 assignments so far - one involved no expenditure at all - the other I had to buy about 3 bags of shopping but will be given £5 towards that as well as payment - it is fairly easy to get 3 bags with only £5 spend which is not a lot to lay out and get back later. Good luck£2 saver club £16 so far!! - it's growing!!! :j

Have you signed up to First Tracking ?
You go to the cinema and audit the adverts and trailers before the film, sometimes there is a Point of sale check to do as well.
The company are looking for people to do checks this weekend and next weekend, if you click here http://www.firstmovies.com/FirstTracking/AvailableAssignments.php you can see all remaining assignments, if there is something in your area you would like to do, join up here http://www.firstmovies.com/FirstTracking/Signup.php
I am not sure what the pay is, but it is more if you have to do a POS check."Dogs come when they are called. Cats take a message and get back to you" :j :j0 -
Beanietdc wrote:Now I am confused... this seems like a really basic error for the Mystery Shopper people to make.... and the worst bit is that because I wasn't able to complete the shop I won't be able to claim my full £15.....
Did it actually say in the instructions that you had to buy the £40 worth of stuff with the card? If not, and you were meant to pay in cash, then the answer she gave you may have been exactly what you were looking for.
I used to work in an NOP office, and some of the questions were set just to test whether the staff knew certain things were/weren't available. Best thing is just to ring NOP and check.0
