M&S flowers failed to despatch :(

Not happy with M&S. Ordered some flowers yesterday well before the 5pm cut-off.
Called today to say that they were not sent out and would be sent out today instead.
What is the point of a nominated day for delivery?
Very frustrating.....
Very annoying when flowers are meant for a special occasion - migth as well have purchased locally - even a petrol station would have been better than no flowers.
I bet I am not the only one.

I am getting so worried now. I placed my first order with thortons today for flowers and chocs. Paid for special delievery for Thurs. what do you think my chances are.

That is really poor service, but I've already posted a ranty moan about M&S today. They should at least have given you a partial refund.

Why could they not have told me last night? I now read on their site that flowers might be prepared up to 3 days before they are sent out at busy times.
If these are prepared 3 or 4 days ago and not fresh, I will not be happy. I hope they last more than a few days.
Of course this might be true of all online flower companies.0
