Refund after the TCD collapse from CC

I was wondering if there is a time limit that the credit card companies have to work within when a refund is due after the collapse of a company like Travel City direct.
We got all our documentation back about six weeks ago and we are still awaiting the refund. Because we had paid part of our deposit by credit card it had to all be claimed back from the credit card company, are there any guidline that credit card companies work within.

No hard and fast rules as far as I know but you must keep at them.0
