Google have released a beta version of Google Chrome for Mac:

It seems pretty fast and stable. I'll try it out for a few days, though I'm struggling to find a reason to switch to it from Safari.
And it really needs an ad-blocker.

Just tried that, and is is very poor and incomplete.
OK, you might expect that for an extension for a beta release, but the Windows release has been out long enough.
Seems that it is built on code from the Firefox Adblock Plus extension, but lacks any way to easily configure it. Also fails to block content that Adblock does just fine for me, so the filterlist used is not that good.
Finally, rather than blocking the content, it first lets Chrome paint the window with the content intact, then removes it from view. In other words that blocked content flashes up briefly, which is very irritating after a while.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I'd try anything over Safari.0

On my MBP I run Firefox for general web stuff and chrome for things like gmail. The fast java engine is the attraction, when support for firefox extensions is fully available that might precipitate a trial of a full move to Chrome but until that time Firefox will be number one.0
