New Scam posing as DHL couriers

I answered the phone yesterday and a recorded message was played to me. It was ostensibly DHL Couriers. As I didn't have time to take details like the phone number I was supposed to ring about the clock they were delivering, I phoned DHL and was told there is some sort of scam with people being asked to ring a number. I can only think it was an 09 number. DHL were already investigating, along with the police. Seems we are all supposed to be expecting a clock-radio. I certainly wasn't.

We had this a while ago - supposedly a radio. It is worth noting that DHL do not need to notify you of a delivery - if you are out they just put a card through the door. We do have deliveries off them so we know. We have NEVER been called like that for a legitimate delivery and we run a small business. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

The radio is probably one of the FM Self scan jobbies from the Poundshop. The 09XXXXX number will be £1.50 per min and last abot 11 mins.0
