Need a high quality device to raise our sofa height

We have a quality sofa with thickish beech wooden legs which is rather low. We need something which will raise it by about three inches. Ideally this would take the form of some matching wooden blocks which have holes in which the existing rather thick legs can fit.
The furniture manufacturers can't help and I can't track anything suitable down. Can anybody suggest where we might find something? Those horrible brown plastic cones are unsuitable. I'm beginning to wonder whether a craftsman carpenter might be the only option but don't know how to go about finding one locally. Any ideas?

Ive got these on 2 of my sofas, because my husband is disabled he find it difficult to get up from the chairs and sofas, my occupational therapist got them for me they are like a bar with legs on and you screw them to your sofa legs its a 2 minuet job, they raise the sofas by about 3 to 4 inches, I will look into it for you.0

I also should have added on my previous post that when fitted they are not seen until you lift the sofa, they are made of heavy type metal??strong and will not come off until unscrewed.0

Maybe create a raised platform part of the floor instead..then no adjustments to the sofa required. Though it might be a bit too permanent a solution!
I vaguely recall my Nan having a device issued by social services that lifted her armchair up by a few inches - like brown rectangular feet held together in such a way that it would fit the legs of any armchair. ...looked hideous though but then most mobility aids do!
So many sofas these days are so low down and really awkward to get up from if, like me, sit-to-stand is a problem. You can get riser cushions where you push a bottom to jack you up a bit when you want to get up..though again it's not gonna like nice.0 -
Shipping crates under each leg?0
