Discounts not applied correctly

Just ordered from Early Learning Centre and applied a 20% duscount. However when the goods arrived the invoice had only deduction £17 discount not £18. Being accounts trained I spotted it, emailed ELC and they did appologies and refund me the extra £1. It may have been a genuine error on my invoice only but does prove it's worth checking.
