Praise for Pizza Express

I just wanted let everyone know about my recent experience with this company.

I recently went to a pizza express for the first time and the waiter was terrible (forgetting things, getting the orders wrong, burnt food etc.) they had not laid the table before we sat down so there was no comment card to fill in while we were there.
I emailed my comments via the website, I promptly received a reply saying they had forwarded my comments on to the restaurant in question and i was phoned a couple of days later by the manager asking me to come back for a meal of up to £40 at their expense so that they can 'show me how things should be done'
I hope this next visit is better than the first, but a big thumbs up from me for there response.

I love Pizza Express, usually excellent service and lovely pizza :)
  • Wow, that's great. Hope you have a nicer second visit. My local Pizza Express is always really good, mainly because the staff there are all lovely.

Yep, I give Pizza Express the thumbs up too. Went there on a whim with the wife on Friday night and had a fantastic meal.

Their Christmas meal deal thing is pretty good right now: I think it's something like entree, starter, main, dessert all for £16 and was very tasty indeed (told the wife it was almost as tasty as her :rotfl:)
  • have had good and bad times at pizza express - usually good.

A couple of times its took over an hour to get our food, but it was busy and we did miss a bit of work so cant complain too much :)

  • we had the dough balls, because we had bought them from a supermarket before we wanted to try the restaurant version. The doughballs were burnt and the garlic butter was just butter :(
