hi i bought 8 cd-r,s for 50p at a car boot thinking i got a bargain but when i,ve looked they are 90 minute cd-r,s.my cd burner will not accept them as they are over 80 mins.is there any way i can format them or have i lost 50p?

This is a new one for me. I would have thought the burner would only reject the media if you were trying to burn more data than could fit onto the disc? Which software application are you using, and whats the brand of your burner?I'm better off without you.0

What burning software are you using? Nero can be told to accept 90 minute disks
open burning rom and go to preferences and select the expert feature tab selct enable overburn (2nd option) and enter the time of 90 minutes and 2 seconds
Its a while since I used a 90 minute disk so I may have missed somthing but I will double check.
Also make sure you burn at a slower speed rather than full speed and burn in DAO mode.0 -
