First Time Poster (i think)

Hi

I am a new poster and I saw an article about the parking fines this morning so i thought i'd check it out.

I got a PCN last week. Without making excuses, am I weasting my time appealing against this?
I admit I am slightly on the yellow but for god sake it's petty to say the least.
The entry way is a private driveway (a family member) where I was dropping my 1 year son off in the morning.

I don't expect violins etc and I know I could have reversed 3 inches and been OK but I personally think it is a joke!

Am I wasting my time?

The site wont let me insert the pic as I am a new poster but it can be found here:

Thanks
Steven

Based on the pic, you don't have grounds for appeal, even if you had reversed 3 inches, but you could have parked legally between the two crossovers.

However the ticket itself may be faulty. Post up pics of the back and front of the ticket (minus personal details)
  • i thought as much.
they just really annoy me. that isnt what traffic wardens were invented for in my opinion
maybe the christmas party fund was low

sorry about the quality but here goes

  • Uh, you've blanked out the wrong bits. Blank out your registration and tax disc no. The name of the council is not something you need to blank out, it's useful info for anyone trying to find a good way to appeal your pcn.
  • what a pleb! me, not you!

the council is oldham. i have deleted the reg etc now

i cant believe i did that. what a numpty
  • Haha it's OK, think we caught it early enough!

Someone with knowledge about these things should hopefully be able to find some reason for appeal. There seem to be very few tickets which cannot be appealed for some reason or other. You could also post all of this up on http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php? where there are lots of people who can help you.

Good to see that the OP has posted on pepipoo as advised, and has already been given a couple of appeal points and the experts over there think the PCN is flawed.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
