NPower are the most dishonest utility

But it's obviously quite acceptable for NPower to lie about what they said in retrospect?!
Spot the NPower PR mole on the forum, every big brand has a team of people like project500 whose sole purpose is reputation damage limitation, you're not too subtle, we're on to you ;-)project500 wrote: »As an N Power customer that does pay his bill I am glad they are not letting every Tom !!!!!! or Harry off their bills just because a supply anomaly occurs. That isn’t fair to the rest of us being supplied with power especially pensioners. If one suddenly doesn’t get a bill from ones power suppliers one needs to be making overtures to the last power company you did pay to find out why the bills ceased.
As for your flat mates, one presumes you hold the lease and are therefore responsible for obtaining a fair proportion of any monies towards power supplies from them. Not absolving you of responsibility and pushing it onto flat a mates long gone that is not fair either. The world doesn’t work like that and there are no free lunches, the whole thing sounds like a dishonest and surreptitious attempt to wriggle out of paying for power actually used to me, just because the power companies made a billing mistake.0 -
I am still laughing at your preposterous idea that I am a mole for N Power. You seem to be one of those people who think all businesses are fair game and if they get it wrong they have to pay you for the privilege of doing so. From what I can see you used the power supplied and simply have to pay for it .If you don’t it’s not fair to the rest of us that do pay for our power. Why should you have it free! Maybe you were given incorrect information re your bill being “written off “ but they are allowed to change their mind if they get the full facts and think you have used the power supplied through the meters. I reckon you knew very well the power bills had stopped arriving in your name and this whole response is really about you trying to wheedle out of paying. Hurt that N Power are on to you, you are looking for solace on this forum0

I'm glad to have brought a smile to your face my friend, it sounds like that doesn't happen very often, I Have this image of you as a Victor Meldrew grumpy old man.
Don't worry nobody's out to deprive either you or the other old age pensioners of their fair due and share of UK PLC. We know you fought a war for us.
I feel your reticence towards me is more of a general disposition so I won’t take it personally, but just so you know I spoke to the ombudsman today and asked them if I was being foolish risking the £150 on the table to pursue this. The response was they felt I had a good case otherwise they wouldn’t have taken it on. It seems they don’t share your concerns about all those evil scamming consumers who are just out to take advantage the poor energy corporation of impeccable reputation, NPower! All those leaches on the back of decent society.
I originally wrote to this forum really just to vent some frustration and do some brand damage as I didn’t think I stood much of a chance taking on NPower. Now that it’s showing progress I won’t be back here so please feel free to belch back any bile that makes you feel better but it won’t be read, well not by me at least.

(A poultry point, but it's leech, not leach.)
(Then again, bottom feeder or parasite - is there that much difference? I retract my Nazi niggle.)0 -
Yep Victor Meldrew that’s me, I think sometimes we need someone to state the opposite point of view and as it was obvious you were just badmouthing Npower I thought a little bit of a different point of view of your own bad mouthing medicine reasoning would bring a different perspective on the whole issue. You weren’t really expecting us all to agree with you where you!
The point is you did use the power and £150 for an admin error offered by Npower sounds fair to me .Go chase it with the ombudsman for all I care I am not with NPower anyway just stating an alternative point so you are not doing me out of anything. I was just browsing the forum and saw your badmouthing splurge and thought i would have my neb in for fun. I am actually over in Australia for the winter away from cold old blighty and its something for nothing culture . Good luck with your claim mate you will need it!0
