Hi i have a video transmitter for interactive Barney.
Its is a thing that talks to barney when playing a video and it is conncted to the vcr and the mains via an adaptor.
But it is rated at 9 volts, 200mA and the only adaptor we have is 9 volts and 500mA.
Would this Adaptor work and is there a chance of it causing any damage to the transmitter thing due to it being rated at 500A?
Thank you
Niall

No problem using an adaptor that is rated at a higher output current. What is important is that it is connected correctly i.e. the polarity + to + and - to -. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
