Had my or phone interview

Well I have had my first OR interview, lasted about 50 minutes, not as long as I had expected. Possibly could get another one, may even have to go in to the office for that one. This is because I tried to use gambling as a "business". She will be contacting the companies I have used, but hopefully I should be OK. I deposited £2400 but actually put £4800 back in to my bank account. She was very nice, lot of searching questions, some of which I honestly could not answer, and told her so, felt a right idiot as I always thought I was well organised. Have now got to wait for her report to see whether we can keep the car, whether a further interview is required, and whether I will have an IPA. Stomach is still in knots, and not too sure how I feel.

  • I have used Gambling as a business too. Never lost. It wasnt the cause of my debt.

What did the OR say on this?
  • Hope she gets back to you soon dojo, and that it is all good news.

I don't know what you mean about gambling as a business?

    Take care xx

Just that she would have to contact who I was gambling with for a breakdown of my results.

I know it sounds dumb, but I did not gamble for the pleasure, I used it like playing the stock markets, to try and make money. As soon as I realised I had to go BR, I closed my account down and have not gambled since. I was doing OK until June, when something happened in the family and I could not devote the time required to it. Because of this I felt under massive pressure so I decided to take stock of my situation and close it down.

My wife has just finished he interview, it only lasted about 20 minutes. Again the OR was very courteous and non judgemental. Just got to wait and see what happens now!

Not at all, you can ask me anything, and if I can I will answer it as best I can.
