Firstplus PPI

Hi
I am currently involved in a PPI claim against Firstplus, I have gone past the 8 weeks and in fact i am now going into week number 13 and no response in the meantime I have contacted the Financial Ombudsman in relation to this can anyone advise me am I able to pursue the claim alongside the Ombudsman i.e send them another letter requesting a response in 7 days or once you have assigned the Ombudsman do you just have to leave it to them to deal with??
Any advice greatly received.

You can let FirstPlus know you have complained to the Ombudsman, other than that I would leave it with the FOS, FirstPlus will respond to them.DS1 12/10/04

As pinknico has said its best to let FOS deal with this as I also did this with FP and they completely stopped responding and when they did write back it was to say "FOS are the only ones they would correspond with".Amanda1880 wrote: »Hi
