    I fancy getting this account for the £100 and the 0% overdraft, travel insurance and credit card. Is the travel insurance free just for the first year or every year does anyone know?

    Also while I have no problem switching my salary and DD's, I have lots of standing orders set up with Halifax which I would rather not change, its a lot of hassle. Can you tell them just to leave the STO's alone?

    When I switched, it wasn't mandatory to switch sources of income but it was mandatory to switch ALL SOs and ALL DDs using their switching service if you wanted to qualify for the £100 switching incentive.
