Hi
I am asking for a friend who has a PAYG gas and electric meter (please excuse the incorrect terminology but never had anything like this myself) she said it was something like a quad meter?!?!? in any case it was put in 8 years ago when she was on benifits she has now retrained and is financially in a much better place. I was totally GOBSMACKED:eek: when she said how much they cost and we were talking about having it removed but she doesn't think she can. Is this right?
Thanks guys

How much did she say it cost? Which supplier is she with?
Ebico charge the same price whichever type of meter you have.
I know of at least one of the big 6 suppliers who charge less for their PPM compared to their standard pay quarterly tariff (although admitedly there are other tariffs available to credit meter customers which may allow discounts for paperless billing, monthly payments by DD, etc)"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
