Halifax Reponse of £130 no more

Hi,
I sent a letter by first class to Halifax Credit Card Services asking 30th November, asking for £654.62 in charges, this includes interest. The charges are from May 2003.
I received a letter today to say that they could refund me £130 no more and excluding the interest. They also state that there is a time limit in which to claim - 2003 is out of the six year barrier.
Should I accept this? Or do you think I could squeeze more out of them. They have said that this is a gesture and not admittance to liability, etc.
