I think Quick Quid was one of the payday loan companies featured on last night's 'Dispatches' programme. Well worth seeing. An investigator looked at how payday loan companies and buy now pay weekly companies....'Bright Homes?' really rack up interest from people............and of course the people using these firms are usually those who can least afford it. If you didn't get a chance to see this programme and you can catch it, it's well worth seeing. I've never had to use loan sharks....I've always known they were out there, but for companies to be flagrantly charging people over 2000% interest, I was flabbergasted that they get away with it. Apparently there's a cap on how much interest can reasonably be charged in some countries, but not in the UK. Do watch it if you can!
