Replace central heating system cost ?

We're in a 2 bed bungalow with added conservatory. Currently, we've a Baxi back boiler single pipe system. Any ideas of a ballpark figure for ripping the lot out and installing a modern system ? Or is leaving the boiler alone as it's working fine and just replacing the radiators and pipe system an option ? Would that be much cheaper ?
I'm thinking £3-4k, is that somewhere close ?

3k is the UK average for a complete CH system.
depending where you live?
a boiler replacement is about 1500 quid, here in the NW.Get some gorm.0 -
We had ours done two years ago (three bedroom house)- new combi boiler and all new radiators (7), including one where there hadn't been before and it was £3500. I'm in Essex by the way.
We used to have a back boiler and we were told that 50p out of every pound that we were paying was going straight up the chimney.0 -

If you'd waited until next April you'd have got £400 of it back though...
