Last year was my first with the xmas eve hamper, went down really well so we are carrying that on, then we were going to do the elf this year, but not sure now as we are moving the week before xmas!! Apart from that, our tradition is to spend xmas eve playing games and watching films together and spending all xmas day at home together :D

We all go to Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve. Then all bundle into Parents Bed (5 of us) to open our Stockings on Christmas morning.

Then spend the entire day eating ! lol

we got lots of little tradations i suppose as there is loads of things we do the same every year which i love. But for me the one thing i love the most is early in the morning when the kids wake and they realise it xmas morning, and my daughter double checks with us it is really xmas. And they are so excited the smiles are fantastic. the older two then jump in our bed trying to wake their daddy ( not a morning person) . They have to then wait for us to get out of bed and we all go downstairs together. Hubbys parents are usally already dressed and waiting with a fresh cuppa for us. then you see the kids faces and they truely light up. It is completly amazing.

Tbh i'm such a soppy moo that i just love anything as long as my hubby and children are all happy.

Choosing the Christmas tree, then putting it in the house on Christmas Eve morning and decorating it as the last thing in the house to decorate before youngest's bedtime. Both children (one of whom is 24!) diving into our bed with everyone's stockings at about 7.00 am. Opening one proper present each before church on Christmas morning, then no opening until after sherry and mince pies when we get back. The waiting is fab - honest!

    I can't just pick one!

Reading Twas the night on Christmas eve
Cooking all the food with the kids on Christmas eve
Watching a new stand up comedy dvd on Christmas day night with my boyfriend after the kids have gone to bed.
Taking the kids out for a run around the heath on Christmas eve.

I'll stop there, so many happy memories!
