Dripping overflow pipe - but I don't have a cold water tank

Or at least, I'm pretty sure I don't
Ground floor flat in converted Victorian factory, have always been led to believe that cold water wise we are directly mains fed - so what could be causing it?
All ideas gratefully received - as I'm due off on holiday on Tuesday and would like to sort it before I go.
Thanks

The toilet althou the newest ones overflow into the pan itself
Combi boiler... if you have one will have an overflow
Could it be from another flat?0 -
Gravity fed radiator system i.e., not a combi boiler.
Just imagine a straight line from the bit of pipe that's dripping and this should locate the offending tank.
If the drip isn't too bad andyour water's not metered, , put a hanging basket beneath it.

Thanks, both.
I was wondering about the other flat possibility - the pipe is above the height of the front door which would mean it comes from a "mini-attic" space above my ceiling where some of my pipes disappear up into - and it does appear that the plumbing for the flats is a bit entangled (after I moved in, I found out that part of upstairs waste pipe seems to run through my hall wall:eek: )
Am having new bathrooms put in at the mo - so new toilets - but they've been in place now for a week or so and the dripping only started this morning.
As long as it's not going to turn into a disaster while I'm away, I shall relocate the ferns when I get home - they'll be very happy:D"When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes" - Erasmus0
