Indeed and I agree that it is a waste of time. It may, though, introduce a buyer who has a more flexible budget to the property. It comes down to the questions asked by the agent.
My feelings are that the range of prices indicated flexibility on the vendors side which may have led to the lower offers. If you market £165k then an offer at £160k is a good offer. If, though, your thoughts lean towards the upper end of the range then its a pointless offer.
Ranges just leave everyone confused unless its at an auction I suppose and its simply a guide and it will sell for whatever it sells for.0 -
I would not want a viewing as the property is overpriced. Also the garden looks unloved and there is nowhere I would want to sit. Sorry but hate the kitchen colours also. The grey pebbledash front of house is also uninspiring. It just doesnt look as if anyone cares about it. Up in the midlands you can pick up a house like this for way under 100k. Have you been to look at the 170k ones to get a feel for why they sell?0

With refernce to the garden, yes it is a little unloved. But being that myself and my husband work 9-5, so miss the daylight and not wanting to electrocute myself in the rain it will have to stay like that for a little longer. It really wont cost anything to tidy it up when it isn't raining all the time.
As for the kitchen, we didnt chose the colours and havent wanted the expense of a new kitchen, anyway I actually quite like it. I have however taken into account the comments and will be painting over the green walls. The kitchen colours havent actually come up on the feedback, lol.0 -

Hi...to the OP, I'm just wondering if you did eventually sell the house? I've had an offer accepted quite nearby - completely different type of house and much higher price but was just curious if you still have it marketed somewhere (or have sold it) as would like to compare.Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)
