How can you boost wifi performance of a laptop?

    Do a google for wifi directional aerial, lots around, though make sure the connector is reverse sma. Price does not necessarily mean better.
    Lots on ebay as well.

    Suggest you buy USB adapter first and play with free antenna below.


    Make your own, and I would suggest this before spending money on an antenna.

    I saw that other day they have a video on you tube. I was tempted to make some aerials to shove on my router to give it a little more boost

    There are plenty of videos on you tube how to improve wireless connectivity

    I got a small wireless 'n' usb adaptor for our 2+ yera old Dell laptop and speeds have improved although adaptor only goes to 150mb we did disabled wireless 'g' in laptop and also have a new n router
