Current insurers wanted £90 to change me to a driver and insure me for the next 4 weeks before policy expires  I will use comparison sites in March but apart from that has anyone got any hints or tips?
That seems a bit mean but car insurers are the devil!
I got my best deal by doing the two main price comparison sites as per Martin's article and then getting my current insurer to match it (they also offered less excess). Try the job tweaker too although it won't make a massive difference. Don't forget to try Direct Line and all the other ones not on comparison sites as they are also competitive. I always try to set aside at least one entire day (best part of anyway) to call round as I think it's worth it! Never managed to get cashback though as the cheapest ones for me have always been smaller ones.Weight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0 -

It used to be the case (not done in a long while) that you got 40% (then) of eBay's commissions. That being the cost to the seller to place an ad. It isn't very much, yet worthwhile, and only applied to BIN sales.0 -
£500 +It's still the case you get 40% of eBays commission on most of the 100% sites (TCB I find reliable for it). It's 50% on onepollcashback, but if not registered there you can claim through TCB's highest cashback promise
It applies to auctions as well as BIN, so long as you don't clear your cookies between the bid and the payment, and if you go through TCB (or wherever) to bid & to pay.
I've seen the couple of pence payment just for bids on a couple of the crappier little cashback sites.Funny enough I've just been reading a post on TCB on how to make sure Ebay tracks each time:

I tend to agree with the last poster that it makes it sound very complicated  If Buying now, then clear cookies/cache like any other purchase. If bidding to pay later, use a browser where you don't clear cookies daily (or every time you close it) & click out from TCB (etc.) each time.0 -
