Rest of the announcement posted on R-Points basically states remaining merchant links on R-Points will be through a different Cashback Site which has not been named, personally I would find it inappropropriate to do anything via an unnamed site or for that matter a relatively new site which has any links at all with anyone who was in control at R-Points/CBK who continued ( by posting new offers and only informing an apparent select chosen few about what was actually going on ) to encourage people to unknowingly do transactions for whatever value despite being fully aware as per October emails that the sites were basically going bust sooner rather than later. :(

Those who made Paypal redemption requests in the last few weeks were neither given any explanation nore informed that if they cancelled their Paypal payment requests and redeemed by BACS they would have up until this week received their monies. :(

They waited over two weeks to reply to my ticket through Shopping Tactics regarding redemption screen not working properly, then on 7th November ( Couldnt answer for over 2 weeks despite me posting about it on CBK Forum and then managed to answer on a Sunday....), informed me that 25.00 + would be made via Paypal despite apparent fact by many Forum posts over the last few weeks that Paypal redemption requests werent being fulfilled. :(

Whilst a number of us had been using a certain relatively new site for daily clicks and no spends most of us had been going out of our way in recent times NOT to give that site any positive publicity on MSE by NOT posting about new no spend offers or clicks that appeared on the site, IMHO long may that continue.

IMHO Plenty of better longer standing 100% sites around anyway like Quidco, Topcashback, Fatcheese and GPB all of whom have both apparent better overall Cashback Rates and have more merchants. :)

Probably the reason the rates were rarely better than the others, was they needed it themselves.

I was referring to a newish 100% site launched by an existing apparent R-Points Director/Shareholder.:)
  • If a company goes under aren't you then banned from being a company director or is there more too it?

Hardly a great incentive given the iffy business decisions made?
