Yes fine here too. Clicks took a bit longer than usual due to the one at a time rule but that is far preferable to no clicks at allWeight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0

An interesting post over at CashBack Chief regarding the economics of affiliate marketing. Chief Rick states that "Price comparison sites cost us thousands of pound every week to run" and goes on to explain that, "Of the 8p (average) we receive per lead, 2p goes to affiliates and 5.5p goes to google, yahoo etc for our PPC campaigns. The other 0.5p is our profit which over several thousand leads adds up eventually. By stopping traffic the 7.5p/lead we would have spent on advertising will all be paid to us within two months allowing us to pay everyone off and then start over with the money we have left over. This is a lot of money and is now our only chance of continuing in the future. So as you can see we aren't cutting off our income, we are stopping our outgoings in order to increase our income, pay off debts and start over in the new year."
I'm not sure that this makes quite as much sense as Chief Rick thinks it does.0 -

Makes sense to me I think.
Say for instance they take £8k per month in revenue, it means that
£2000 goes to affiliates
£5500 goes to google, yahoo etc
£500 is their profit that they are trying to use to pay off old debts.
However if they stop advertising for a month, they have a full £8k to pay off affiliates, which would take them 16 months to do otherwise.
however they need to be careful that they leave enough for themselves to start the advertising campaigns again.0 -

What doesnt make sense is how they managed to pay us 6p a click during enhanced rate click promotions during early 2009 and 3p/4p a click during what was called 100% rate click promotions 12 Months ago. :think:0 -
Those who had done EIF surveys(75p) on Chief in the past, are they paid in the end please..???
I can still see the whole lot of those surveys there, but was not sure whether to go for it?????0 -

Hi ....., thanks for your query.
Very sorry for the lack of response to your query. As you have not redeemed from this account before I have now requested a Paypal redemption using your email address .......................
As a gesture of goodwill, we have awarded all your pending transactions and included them in this payment
From comments others have made here, it sounded like the rpoints family had given up with paying anybody their paypal requests :think:0 -

Yes, but they've suspended all activity, so they don't have have the "full 8k". They have in fact approximately £nil.
I read it and thought; why not just simply stop advertising for a month or two. In fact, spending something like 70% of your revenue on advertising seems pretty crackers in the first place.0
