£500 +Thank you moi. I've just checked, and yes, it appears I am registered with TCB! I'd forgotten all about them. I've got 99p in my account - yay - so won't be starting off from zero now!0

Thank you aureol212 - I didn't know about the nectar site. I'm not much of a user of Nectar, being a Tesco shopper, but I will definitely look into that.
Thank you again- funny how quickly you get into the mindset of "I'm not buying unless I'm getting something extra"
LOL, you were reading my mind today when I was stood at Netto! I was standing there thinking, I don't earn nectar points, tesco clubcard points, Iceland swipe and win... what am I doing here? OH YES! The items I was buying were a lot cheaper than any of the above!0 -

My personal feelings is I would rather do 23 seperate searches (which I already do) to help keep the click alive, itmight take a couple of minutes extra a day, but if doing that keeps the click alive for months longer then to me its worth it:oLittlesusie wrote: »it doesn't matter to me if I'm doing 23 searches on the one click or 23 across all the sites. The whole process is dull no matter what site or click you do. At least there is something to click out on unlike buy central. The penny's still add up.Numpty is giving good advice,if you want to keep the click alive.
At the moment its worth £167.90 a year if you do it daily that one click alone.
Now you wont get that watching paint dry.
Well said you three, these restrictions are to keep the click alive rather than make life difficult, and at least they pay more than some 1p clicks which take just as long and often don't track, :TIf you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours0 -

Question for the technically minded - of which I am obviously not:-
How do you get a dynamic IP address? Is in dependent upon which provider you're with - or is it to do with what router you've got? I'm with Sky & have a fixed IP.
One other thing, is there any "risk" associated with having a dynamic IP address?
Thanks in advance.0 -

It's dependent on your ISP. If your provider does provide dynamic IP addresses, then you can change it by turning your router on and off.
I don't know anything about Sky, but If they/anyone's ISP is one of the ones that only do static addresses, e.g. Virgin cable, o2, then you're stuck with a fixed Ip address. Router turning-off and on won't change it.
(not to be confused with the address of the router itself)
Re: risk, I don't pretend to be an expert on that, but I don't think there's serious risk. Dynamic IPs are 'recycled', so at worst you might find yourself blocked from something like HighStreetWeb if, by some slim chance, that particular IP had been blocked from it previously.0 -

Thanks for that, MOI.
Any idea which ISP providers you can get a dynamic address from?0 -
I wouldn't say that I was technically minded either but most Internet Providers will let you have a dynamic address, and I know that Sky do so you probably only need to give them a call.
Some providers actually charge you more for having a static IP, and you need one if you want your own website for instance, but moi7 is right that there is no real risk with a dynamic IP especially as if you get blocked from somewhere using a particular IP address switching your router off then on often gives you a new oneIf you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours0 -

Thanks Madcat & MOI :T
I'll give Sky a call later. Just need to find out now if having a dynamic IP will affect logging back on / the computer recognising the new IP address after re-set. Son has begged the question re: his computer & his Xbox (suggesting that he'll need to re-enter the new IP address each time).
You're both far more technically minded than me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0
