Working Tax Credits turnaround time?

Hi,

Those who have recently applied for Working Tax Credits, how long have you been waiting for a reply back now? I sent my completed forms back 3 weeks ago &, as yet, have heard nothing back. I'm impatient, I know ;)

Why not give them a ring?

Sorry, I should have said, I can't use the telephone so it would mean me having to write to them (again), then getting someone to post the letter for me, etc. Before I do so, I just wondered what the standard turnaround time was & whether I should wait a bit longer.

I would give it up to 5-6weeks and then chase it up. As you would be writing in for an update I would only wait 4-5weeks.
