Help please with PS3 & HDMI

Hi,

I have tried to hook up our PS3 to HD TV using the standard HDMI cable.

When I switch the TV over to HDMI, all I get is sound but no picture.

I've checked all the connections but still doesn't work

Any ideas?

You need to ensure that the HDMI output is selected on the PS3 menu.

IIRC it defaults to Scart

the other way round

it defaults to HDMI, at least mine does. you have to manually change it to out out to another connection.

But do try scart anyways op.

Have you tried a different HDMI slot on the tv? or a different cable?

As gaming_guy pointed out... hold down the power button which will reset the PS3........

Should have realised I would have to amend the settings on the PS3!
