Arsenal Tickets - Which online site to use???

I want to buy my dad and grandad tickets to see Arsenal for there xmas present. I understand that these are very difficult to get hold of and that the only way of doing it is to spend £100ish using a ticket website (which I am happy with).
When I run a google search for this many different ones come up and I just want to make sure it is not fraudulent. Are there any with a good reputation that people have used in the past???
Thanks in advance

Did you have a particular match in mind?
There have been a few (and these few have of course been the 'less desirable' fixtures) that have gone to general sale which would mean you could buy at face value.
I know that Arsenal and Thomas Cook do matchday packages which include a hotel stay. It may be worth looking into these. Unless of course you are in London and then the hotel stay is pointless!
I've only ever bought directly from the club, so can't recommend any other ticket websites. Sorry.0 -
If they're 'big' Gooners you may be better off signing them up to the Red Membership scheme with the club, which will entitle them to purchase tickets which are left over (ie not snapped up) by the season ticket holders and the 'silver' members of the club.
Red members usually end up in a scrumdown for tickets, but the dates that they go on sale are well publicised on the main site. You often find that matches go to red members but sell out at that stage. In all honesty it will give you a slightly better chance to get tickets rather than paying inflated prices elsewhere, but you've got to shell out a minimum of £30 each to join (and thereafter on a yearly basis).
Maybe the red membership would be a better gift, allowing them to pick/choose the matches they wish to see?0 -
They arent really massive Arsenal fans and are unlikely to go to more than 1 game, especially as we live in the midlands. Would also be nice if it was an xmas present so not sure if the red membership scheme is really the way to go.
I was looking at the match vs Everton on 9th Jan which is about £100 per ticket on most of the sites that I have been on.
Do football match tockets come on ebay or are they prohibited from selling on there???0 -
Ebay don't sell them though for some reason other companies get away with it even though it's illegal.0

Depends what you mean by legit but I would guess if you rang Arsenal yourself and asked them then they would say none of them.0 -

Google all the companies and see what you find. Pay by credit card and you should be OK.0 -
All of these companies operate illegally. It is a criminal offence to sell football tickets for games in this country, unless you are licenced by the club to do so. The only licenced vendors are Arsenal, Thomas Cook, and the box offices of visiting clubs.
As to whether you'll get any tickets - its up to you. But bear in mind that if they don't come (and several of these companies are operated by people who have previous for major ticket fraud), then any protection offered by consumer law (including credit card protection) may be invalid.
Personally, I wouldn't touch any of these scummy touts.0 -
Read your query out to DH ( he's a red member) and he's just looked at the Thomas Cook site, linked from the Arsenal site for the Everton match. He could have booked a package of B&B (sharing a room) match tickets, and stadium tour for £266 the pair. You could upgrade to a 5* hotel for a price of £305. More than your £100 a ticket, but totally legit and guaranteed to arrive. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
