I have a letter / fine through the post from the above company for parking for 4 hours when I only get 2 hours free at a moto service station. I have looked on the forum and seen people are saying to ignore and they will go away after a few more threatening letters. Although I don’t want to doubt the people that are trying to help my question is has there been anyone who has just ignored them and the letters and threats have stopped. Don’t want to park company with £50 but would like to hear from people who have done this and its worked out fine.

Is there anyone out there that have been taken to court?

Its worked out fine for 99.99999999999999% of people.

Just completely ignore anything you get. They will threaten, jump up and down and do everything thy can to scare you into paying.

Just dont even bother opening the envelopes.

Nobody on here has been taken to court. They have just ignored all the letters and eventually the parking companies have just lost interest. There have been a couple of court cases, one was lost by the PPC, the other case was won by the parking company but there were very special circumstances and luckily that will not be repeated. So just relax and don't worry.

Thanks. Feel a bit better now. My licence is registered to my mum and dads address still so will tell them to bin anymore letters.

CP Plus are well known scamsters who haunt service stations.

Easy to ignore.

It's probably worth keeping hold of the letters, just in case. You never know, you may have to sue them for harassment.
