how credit card agencies set the credit limits ...for credit cards ,is there any formula or criteria to givin credit limit by the companies.

Yes

1 - take a piece of string
2 - count the number of steps taken to walk to the car
3 - divide by the number of letters in your maiden name
4 - multiply by a random number
5 - Add £2
