Poor print quality

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me.
I have an HP Laserjet P2014 printer. My printed copies have always been okay. However recently when I am printing it would appear that the printed information is being copied again/duplicated on the same printed page, but further down the page. I have tried cleaning the rollers and also ran the clean page from my printer properties box, this has not helped. Any suggestions.
Many thanks

Sounds like the imaging drum needs cleaning or changing, how old is the printer?
Do not, under any circumstances, hoover the inside yourself, the micro particles of toner will pass straight through your hoover into the air, and they are dangerous if inhaled!0 -
are you sure in the properties it doesnt say print 2 copies to a page?Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000
current savings: 20,500 (target hit yippee!)
Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)
new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,0000 -
Isofar - the printer is about eighteen months old. I will see if I can clean the imaging drum.
Dave101t - i have checked and its printing one copy per page.0 -
Meg20 - did you buy the printer new ? How many pages have you printed (check the print counter) ?
A laser drum only has a certain lifespan of so many 1000 prints, and will eventually need to be changed (depending on printer model etc).0
