Epson R220 - ink nozzles blocked and won't clear

    Also problem with epsons is the inks are designed to dry very quickly after hitting the paper so they dont smudge.

    Nice feature, only prob with that is it doesnt help when the ink dries on the print head when a certain ink isnt used for a while. I have used so much ink for head cleaning it's ridiculous so may go for a Canon printer next time!

    Canon cli-8 inks are very easy to refill -my ip5300 is nearly 3 years old on just refills. Epson used durabrite ink which dried v. quickly ,hence the clogs.
