You can claim refunds under the DSR but last time they were quite arsey about it claiming it was "a bit of fun" and anyone unhappy (with being ripped off) was a 'spoilsport'

Genius marketing really.
Get a worthless bag of junk. Charge £20. Make people feel little and worthless when they complain that they've been conned.

Out of interest, does anyone know roughly how long it takes them to send out the BOCs? My order says awaiting despatch, but then it was saying that about an hour after I ordered one on Monday

Usually it takes a bit of time, but we got our sack today.

For those that want to know what's in it - we don't know, we are waiting until Xmas day, so the (many) boxes have gone under the tree for then.
Our last couple of (small) BoCs, which were just 3 items (these are 16+sunglasses+a bag of some sort) included : a network drive thingy (apparently not completely useless acording to him indoors), a *fab* labelling machine thingy, a power kite (fab pressie for nephew) a great inflatable bag (fab pressie for neice) - can't remember the other two things from the last two bags we got - they weren't completely useless though, and it's a bit of fun.
For those that don't like the concept - it's bit like sitting watching a tv programme and sitting there complaining about it - if you don't like it - don't buy it (turn off the tv) - but for those that do and do like it, why spoil their fun by going on about how you don't like it - we don't care, bog off basically baaaa-humbugers....
