Hi,

Boffer are once again offering their bagsof cr*p. This one is £19.99 and you get 18 items.

I haven't got one of these before but a quick look at utube made me think it was worth a gamble.

Just got this from the website:




Your sack will contain at least 18 items and it will cost £19.99
At least one of the 18 items you will receive will count as the sack so in other words one of the items you will receive will be a sack or bag of some description. It may be a laptop bag, a school bag, a blow up beach bag, Cheryl’s Prada handbag (it’s unlikely you will receive this as she only has one and guards it like a hawk). If you are really unlucky you may get a pack of bin bags or a colostomy and they will count as your sack!!
Everything you receive will be new.
We would usually use the bag of cr*p as an opportunity to get rid of a lot of broken and returned stock but this time I can guarantee (yes, I will personally guarantee) that everything you receive will be new. It may be covered in a fine lair of dust because it has been sitting in our warehouse for that long but hey wipe it off and you have a very cr**py new item

We had started devising a little list of some of the items going into the sacks but judging by the number of people who have said it ruins the surprise element of opening your crap we are no longer going to do that. But here are a few clues on what to expect. We have 3000 pairs of designer Sunglasses branded as BHPC, Nike and Reebok, a couple of LCD TV’s, a mountain of Balkan Tat, and the dregs of all the pro fitness and sports equipment as well as a few power kites!!

Where did you find out what's in it? They said they weren't going to list what's in the sack of C, as people didn't want them to, so confused about where you found out what's going to be in it.....

Can you send it back if it is really bad. Isn't there some trading standards law that retailers must give refunds if items are returned within 28 days ?

Theoretically then you could buy the cr*p and if it is REALLY cr*p send it back for a refund.

No - retailers have no obligation to refund items to them if you just don't like it/have changed your mind.

There is the distance selling regulations act for online retailers, but I don't think this would come under them, as it's well noted on the website etc that this is indeed a pile of tat, and there may be a 'custom' element to it, which isn't covered by the distance selling regs. They may give refunds out of goodwill - not sure you would have the check website - though it's not really in the spirit of it, and if you are of the mind you might be doing so, please just don't buy it as it means those who do want to buy it will miss out.

I've gone and ordered one! It's worth the risk. My hsuband and I are only spending £25 on each other this year, and this makes it a little more fun. I bought similar from firebox or somehwhere last year, and was quite happy with what was sent!
Never used boffer before though.

You could send back within seven days under distance selling I believe, as you are buying over the internet and haven't seen it. But I agree it's not exactly in the spirit of it! You know you are taking a risk!

I had one last year and i had a lovely lap top bag which we used to take the lap top with us on holiday, i also had a USB cabal which was useful, a mobile phone holder and a few other bits.
