I have the same doubts, would only order on it's own as I wouldn't want to pay postage carges for things I can collect in the shop.
Already placed an order with the free £20 continental chocs this morning so having serious worries about me using 2 codes on 1 day.
Can't afford for them to charge me £50 for chocs that I can't return either if they don't honour the code...

I think they are more likely to cancel the order rather than send it and charge £50 +P&P, as we have only authorised £3.95 to be taken from credit cards (that's if they don't just post them out, fingers crossed)
A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion
  • I just managed to get one too. I can't believe they haven't picked up on this - feel a bit sorry for them really!

Just found this on their site:

Our Website contains a large number of products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures prior to acceptance of an order. If a product's correct price is higher than the price stated on our website we may at our d iscreation reject your order without liability to you and notify you of such rejection.

We are under no obligation to supply products to you at an incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an order preparation confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.

Spent £9 on one transaction for the first glitch - needed the 3 items I ordered anyway so was extatic with that one!!

Also did another £9 transaction for the free £50 hamper. Will kick myself if I end up paying £9 for a £5 box of choccies - but worth gambling the £4 to see if it works lol!!!

Paid on paypal both times as it took ages and crashed when processing my card. Wonder if they will honour this..........lol!!!
  • I can't believe that only 23 people have thanked OP and only 13 thanked scottishminnie for the hamper code! Surely more than this number of the 1700+ views are logged in and have used?
