Leaking car.

DD has Peugeot 107 new year ago May with 3 yr warranty. She now finds it has water in the passenger footwell. Is this sort of thing normally covered under a warranty? She has not made any changes to car which could have caused this and the seal around the aerial is still ok.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

The warranty should cover this. Possibly the windscreen seal is leaking."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Is this not normally a blocked pollen filter (or similar)?
I would just take it in to the dealer and ask them to sort it.
Now it couldn't just be a succession of wet feet?0 -

No, blocked pollen filters don't cause water ingress into the passenger compartment."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
Leaking heater matrix could be a possibility but is unlikely on such a new car. Does the radiator need topping up?0

She's a student at Uni so won't take many passengers, anyway being 2 door does discourage passengers.
I'll check if top up needed when she comes down next week.
Wondered about windscreen but could not see any difference in the mastic.
There are lots of gullys on the front by the screen so any of them could be the culprit.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -

Get someone to spray the windscreen with a hosepipe whilst someone else sits in the passenger seat and checks for leaks. Does the car have a sunroof?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -

Don't discount this totally - this is the case in the Ford Focus. I know it's a different car, but worth exploring surely??I'm so sexy it's a wonder my underpants don't explode.0 -

Ah you don't read the honestjohn column in the Telegraph then. This is frequently the cause of dampness and misting up, they are rarely changed/inspected at services as far as I can make out.0 -
As someone who thinks a "D" reg car is newish where would a pollen filter be? Our other car is a (19)53 morris minor so you can see we don't come across this too often.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

As the dampness (wetness?) seems to be limited to the passenger footwell, it's unlikely to be a blocked polen filter."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
