    Afternoon!

I ache all over after my eventful weekend. Most of it is due to carrying Natasha for so long yesterday although I'm not sure that explains the random bruises... :o

Trying to think of something to make for dinner - I have defrosted some chicken but have very few other ingredients...

Just roast it, hack it to bits ( think of someone whilst doing this!) and bung it on the plates mixed up with some pasta and veggies.
I'm going to do Shepherds Pie, adding a small amount of wine to the meat....and a large amount to the cook:D
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !

Feeling incredibly meh now, almost wish I didn't have MSE drummed into me so I could just stick newer cars on credit and worry about it later :(

    Need I say more :rotfl::p

:rotfl: Wish Ryan had taken the same approach instead of pointing out loudly that I had a bruise on my collar bone when my parents were there! :o (I really can't remember how that one happened!!)

Good date? Hmmmmmm......didn't go quite to plan. :o

Met him, he seemed quite nice, not bad looking, went for a drink and we were chatting a bit, but it all felt a bit awkward, and I noticed he made a LOT of eye contact, absolutely non-stop. And it seemed like the more we talked, the more intently he stared at me, to the point where after 2 drinks I was feeling desperately uncomfortable and could barely look at him.

Then he started commenting on my shyness (which was only so bad because of how he was being), and saying I didn't make much eye contact and I must be nervous because I was drinking quickly (so made me conscious of absolutely everything basically).

We went into another bar for a third drink, and by this point, conversation had ground to a halt, and it was the most uncomfortable I have ever been on a date in my entire life.

He went to the loo and... :o:o I ran. About a mile across Leeds, in high heels, all the way to the train station, jumped on a train and went home. :o:o

I did text as soon as I left the pub, so he would know I'd gone before he came out of the loo....but still, I am feeling pretty crap about it.

Got home and spent a couple of hours crying on Mr Sunday's shoulder on MSN, then he said he was going to bed and would I be able to sleep. I said no, I didn't think so, would probably stay up and read. And then he said 'come over, if you don't want to be alone'.

Thought he was joking so there was a bit of banter about it, and then he said 'Go on then, get your coat on, see you in an hour' (he lives quite a distance away). So I threw a couple of things into a bag and went! At 12.30am, in the rain and the fog, up onto the dales!

I got there at 1.30am (must point out that I wasn't over the limit as I had planned to drive home from the station after my date anyway), and spent the night cuddled up to him in his bed (no rudeness...not till this morning anyway :rotfl:), and then spent the morning with him, until he had to leave for his hockey match.

Not quite the evening I had planned. :o But it ended in a much nicer way than it began.

    There you go Squizz!

I then spent Sunday afternoon with him - we took both lots of kids for a long walk, then back to his for hot chocolate and the kids all had pasta in cheese sauce. They got on brilliantly! :)
