I think you only get a xmas bonus if your on certain benefits like attendance allowance, DLA , carers allowance and incapacity allowance so not everybody on benefits gets it.Im not having a go and I can see that it will help a little bit, Im just suprised..the idea of a christmas bonus makes me smile- I work for the NHS and we wont even get a "happy christmas" from the Dept of Health let alone a christmas bonus
My son gets it for being on DLA and i get it for being his carer.I heart The Capital

I've been reading that if you get the £10 (which i got today),you also get £60 before March.

Pity the workies at the Job Centres.
Management have cancelled their usual 1/2 day credit on their timesheets, citing "adverse public perception" as the reason why it's been done away with.
Shame really. All the other government departments are still getting it, Job Centre Plus & their staff are the ones which have been "up against it" the most this year, they've won awards for customer service despite the worst economic downturn in a generation and their staff aren't getting the recognition they deserve.0 -
