    shcking jim id do christmass cards fro everyone but accidenly forget to do one for the greedy management

    I think you only get a xmas bonus if your on certain benefits like attendance allowance, DLA , carers allowance and incapacity allowance so not everybody on benefits gets it.
    My son gets it for being on DLA and i get it for being his carer.

    I think that happened last year,is this same happening this year ?

    No, that was a one off payment last year, it will not be happening again this year.

    Pity the workies at the Job Centres.

    Management have cancelled their usual 1/2 day credit on their timesheets, citing "adverse public perception" as the reason why it's been done away with.

    Shame really. All the other government departments are still getting it, Job Centre Plus & their staff are the ones which have been "up against it" the most this year, they've won awards for customer service despite the worst economic downturn in a generation and their staff aren't getting the recognition they deserve.

    I dont think its something to complain about.

    Working for DWP in a claimant facing environment is !!!! but at least it is a job.
