in Credit cards
After a brief break i was late paying my cedit card by 5 days. I was charged with a £20 fine. Under the new agreement the credit card co.'s are now liable to charge you with a max £12 fine. With some haggling and grovelling and if you can speak to a supervisor. this can be quashed. thay are authorised to give you full credit, but are very reluctant to do so. My tip is to KEEP trying get them them to look at your payment record etc. and threaten them with transfreing your account if they dont caugh up. Good luck :j

Pay the minimum required by DD and for any extra you want to pay use a cheque. Result ... No charges...0

I was one day late with Mint last month and so had a £20 charge. Phoned them and said it was excessive for 1 day and they refunded me straightaway.
Some companies have yet to agree to reduce charges and are still in discussion with the OFT including RBS (which includes Mint).0
