may the force be with you :rotfl:
:rotfl:Thanks, we came back yesterday and I can honestly say I am NEVER EVER EVER going on holiday with them again. We all decided to go to the local zoo and I went off to have a shower, 2 minutes later Mil said "Right, we're going now". My DH wasn't happy as she didn't give us any notice, but she went off with her GS and DD. When we got there the supposedly £8 per adult was actually £15.50 and £10.50 per child  (2 adults, 1 19y.o + 2 children = nearly £70:eek::eek:)

And don't get me started on his childish and selfish brother, who didn't contribute to any of the food for 11 people. He just bought a bottle of whiskey and acted like a little child

There are many more examples but not enough space to write them in...

Ooh I feel better for getting that out :p

Nooo to broken TV but yay to not having to borrow to buy a new 1!

A big pest thats what the broken TV was a big bl00dy pest!!

I went to Argos Saturday and got a new one. Got it home plugged it into my cable box and nothing - zip - nadda! My dad came in checked I had put the batteries in my remote control correctly (I may be stupid at times but I'm not that stupid!!) tried TV again still nothing - so it got packed up and taken back.
Thankfully got it replaced no problem and the 2nd one works perfect :D shiny black 19" of HD prettieness!!!! :D

I was lucky to have my VSP to pay for it - as much as I hated using it, at least it was used for something I needed :D

I've changed my mind again :) I no longer want to spend the VSP on Christmas 2010, a mini-break, a laptop or a home-learning course; my new plan is to save for a holiday to Egypt in June 2011!

Sound like a very good plan!! :D

I'm in the middle of switching my current account (for a free £50 which will be added to my VSP), so I have made 2 payments to my VSP.

    One from each account.

    £8.88 and £9.86. :)

I'll update next week when my cashback payments clear, but my VSP is nearly at £200.
