Great idea- I need something new to challenge me. I have a couple of accounts to save from and an e-savings account it can go to. I'm not sure what to save for yet. I might use money saved until April to help me reach my proposed debt free date if I need it. Ideally I want to use the money for something special as a pat on the back if I stay on track financially!

  • Finally got myself sorted out and am I am going to use an old account this time, my current balance is about 60 quid, I will aim for 300 pounds. It will be to pay for Christmas some kind of special treat for Mum.

  • I have decided to change the reason for my savings! I am now saving for the Chrismas sales of 2010!!

The reason for this is -
I have gone a bit mad in this years sales and I have taken all money from my account to the nearest £5 to pay the amount I have spent on the Mastercard, it will pay it all off and the Sound of music tickets I have bought for my SIL's birthday in January :D

I have spent out in the sales - £125.43 and saved myself - £156.51 :eek:
That is all my Christmas presents for 2010 except 2, for friends and friends kids bought and wrapped as well! It also includes a few birthday presents for the year ahead. Only need to get for my family now and I'll be done!
  • Hi can I join in please - sounds like a good way to save for next christmas.
